Huge Peyote Cluster
This small, round cactus with fuzz (no spines) hardly rises an inch above the soilês surface when growing, with the largest part being underground (like a carrot). The part that you do see above ground are called peyote buttons and these are what people covet, as they are generally consumed either fresh or dried. Why eat this cactus? You probably already know (thatês why youêre here). Regardless, Peyote actually produces up to 50 different alkaloids that generate different physical and psychological effects. The most known, and prevalent, of these alkaloids is mescaline.
Beautiful Lophophora williamsii (Peyote) clusters, also called Lophophora williamsii v. caespitosa. They are regular Lophophora williamsii plants but differ in the fact that they sprout alot. You can form very big clusters over time.
